About Us
A-Haven is a Victorian Town House Hotel which has fourteen well equipped, high quality bedrooms all with en-suite facilities at value for money prices close to Edinburgh city centre. It is personally managed by your host David who will make sure you receive a true Scottish welcome and are well looked after during your stay

The first and foremost reason for choosing A-Haven would have to be your host, David. Having worked in the catering industry for over 30 years, there isn’t much he doesn’t know about the business. His career started as Chef in one of Edinburgh’s top Hotels followed by several years of Hotel Management and now continuing here as Proprietor of A-Haven Townhouse Hotel.
But it’s not just his knowledge and experience of the industry that will impress you. What will impress more than anything will be his genuine welcome along with all the attention and friendliness you could possibly desire. This, coupled with a knowledge of Edinburgh that will make you tear up your guide books, will ensure that your stay in Edinburgh will be a memorable one. As all of our guests will tell you, David is the perfect host. His permanent smile during arrival and his permanent smile at departure will leave you wondering if it has actually been painted on. Of course, you may never want to depart.
